About Me
Hi, I’m Robin Luo, your local business partner in China. Based in Shenzhen, I work with international entrepreneurs and small business owners who want to make real progress in China’s fast moving market, whether that means finding the right suppliers, navigating local systems, or building trusted relationships on the ground.
With over a decade of hands on experience across sourcing, marketing, and cross-cultural business, I’ve helped bridge the gap between global ideas and local execution. I’ve launched ventures, led marketing and sales teams, and built the kind of network that gets things done in China.
Along the way, I saw how tough it can be for foreign entrepreneurs to find trustworthy, on-the-ground support, someone who not only speaks the language but understands the business culture, the unspoken rules, and what really moves the needle. That’s why I started RobinConnect: to offer practical, flexible, and personalized support to clients who want a real partner in China, not just a consultant or service provider.
I work directly with every client, offering real support on the ground, solving problems in real time, and making sure things get done the right way. That’s the value I bring: clear communication, trusted local execution, and someone you can count on in China.

My Background
I currently serve as Marketing Director at the Shenzhen branch of a leading localization company, where I also oversee our Hong Kong operations. I helped build the local marketing team from the ground up and have led major projects involving global brands and government organizations.
Before that, I launched businesses in education, tourism, and events, including immersive experiences that drew thousands of participants. I’ve co-organized ultramarathons, built cross border partnerships across Southeast Asia, and worked in the Web3 industry, managing communities and remote teams across China, Indonesia, and the US.
These experiences gave me a hands on understanding of how business works here, and how to move fast, adapt culturally, and make things happen.
Let’s Work Together
